Speedy Service (ser-vee-chay) is the hotheaded leader of the Samurai Pizza Cats. He's also called "shorty", which he is! Speedy uses his sharp sense of humor and the magical Ginsu Sword to rid Little Tokyo of evil and defend it from the Big Cheese's giant robots. He is madly in love with Lucille. His Japanese name (Yattaro) means "I will defeat you!"

Polly Ester is the only female Samurai Pizza Cat, and she is a cool character...unless someone says the wrong thing to her or steps on her tail! She fights Big Cheese's minions with her small but fast kodachi and heart-shaped throwing stars. Her Japanese name (Pururon) is the sound a cat makes when it purrs...

Guido Anchovy is the tall cat in blue...he is a lady chaser and a self-proclaimed romantic! He always knows how to make an entrance, and fights the bad guys with an umbrella...yep that's right, an umbrella. Pretty corny isn't it? He competes with Speedy in itrying to impress Lucille. His Japanese name (Sukashii) is a word for "Show Off".

Francine Manx is the cute little manager of the Pizza Cats pizza parlour. She's in charge of alerting the Rescue Team when the Cats need help! She also operates the cannon which the Pizza Cats are shot out to battle with. Her Japanese name (Otama) is a popular name for cats in Japan!

Lucille is the owner of a tea shop and has captured the hearts of both Speedy and Guido. She is very calm and softspoken...but when she gets upset she literally blows her top. Hundreds of heatseeking missiles are launched from her impressive hairdo when angry or sad. Her Japanese name is Omitsu, but everyone calls her "Mi-chan".

The Rescue Team! From left to right- Bat Cat; who represents the power of Air, Spritz The Cat; represents the power of Water, General Catton; The element of fire. He's a sumo cat in his spare time..., and Meowzma; who sports an orange suit and represents Earth. They aren't very good fighters but they never fail to get the Pizza Cats out of a jam!

Emperor Fred is the wacky Emperor of little Tokyo, he always carries a fan in the design of the Japanese flag and says nothing but "Fah-red". He's a looney! His court officials rule Little Tokyo for Him. No one is sure why he is whacko, but he was once a normal panda! His Japanese name (Tokugawa) is a spoof of the founder of the Tokugawa Period in Japan's history. He did crazy things and so does Fred! Coincidence? I think not!

Princess Vi (as in Violet..er..violent, a parody of Diana) is the daughter of Fred and Freda, she acts sweet and innocent, but when daddy's gone she's a spoiled brat! She gets angry very quickly and has no patience, but she is curious and gets into too much trouble. She has a crush on Bad Bird. Her Japanese name (Usa-hime) means Bunny Princess.

Freda is the uhm..."well drawn" wife of Fred. She is a ditz and married Fred for his money (what did you think she'd do it for? ^_^) but got bored with palace life and now travels the world. She teaches Vi everything she knows about taking advantage of people! She carries a mean bazooka and once almost trapped Bad Bird into marrying Vi.

Al Dente is one of the lords and advisors to Emperor Fred. He is the Pizza Cats' superior and often calls on their help to foil a plot of Big Cheese's simply because Big Cheese is higher ranked than him. Big Al is a samurai and therefore uses a big blade and a gruff voice to do his fighting. His Japanese name is Wankoh and is like "woof-doggie". I like the name. :)

Guru Lou is a genius professor who has a slew of odd weapons and strnage contraptions. He helps the pizza cats occasionally, he helped open the way to the giant robot, "The Great Catatonic". He once helped Speedy find his inner strength when Speedy was being defeated by Bad Bird. Lou here has an appetite like no other...but seeing he's a hippo it's to be expected!

Mama-san and Son are two weird characters that always have something funny to say when the Pizza Cats launch into battle. They're not very well known as people, but Mama-san once ran for mayor of Little Tokyo.

The New York Cats are the New York branch of Pizza Cats. KonKon's cousins and relatives wreak havoc all over the world...even America, the NY Cats are the defenders of New York. From left to right they are Sundance; who is Speedy's act-a-like, DeeDee; the likeness of Polly, and Casmopolis, who is like Guido and General Catton.

Lucinda is Lucille's American counterpart.

Abigail is Francine's american counterpart...guiding the pizza cats into battle!
